Fever Tree Tasting

It all began in 2003 with a meeting of minds and one simple premise: if three quarters of your G&T is the tonic, wouldn’t you want it to be the best? Their co-founders Charles and Tim, working in different parts of the drinks business, had both spotted that premium spirits were growing quickly, fueled by consumers’ increasing awareness of the provenance of what they ate and drank. However, this growing interest in premium food and drink had seemed to neglect mixers, a crucial element of the drinks industry that remained flat. It struck them both as extraordinary that people were paying a good deal of money for a high-quality spirit, yet had no choice but drown it with a poor-quality mixer. Since they put the lid on their first bottle of Premium Indian Tonic Water, they haven’t wavered in their single-minded mission to bring quality, flavour and choice back to mixers. Innovation remains at the heart of Fever-Tree and they've developed a range of tonic waters that perfectly complement the varied flavour categories of gin. They've found three incredibly diverse varieties of ginger that, together, create a remarkably deep, fresh and true taste, which they've used to make a selection […]

Insolito Tequila Tasting

INSÓLITO. (IN-SOL-EE-TO): (SPANISH) ADJ. uncommon, rare, extraordinary; a singular tequila of unique origin for those who live boldly, bravely, and beyond convention. The Herrera Brothers built their distillery high in the Sierra del Tigre mountains of Jalisco, Mexico, where the hot days and cool nights would allow for a unique aging process. Then they said adios to tradition once again, distilling their spirits in stainless stills instead of copper, and aging them in new American oak casks.

Blue Note Bourbon Tasting

Their bourbon barrels are cooked low and slow like Memphis barbecue as they age near the banks of the Mississippi River. The deep Delta heat and humidity forge an unforgettable rich flavor resulting in a full bodied bourbon with bold notes of caramel, oak, vanilla, and spice that lingers on the palate. At 93 proof, Blue Note Bourbon is not chill filtered, resulting in a rich, savory mouthfeel.

Green River Bourbon Tasting

Green River is Kentucky bourbon from the heart of Bourbon County. The Green River Distillery, now restored to its former glory, is flowing with Green River Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, a glowing, amber example of Kentucky craftsmanship. It’s a rounder, smoother, higher rye bourbon whiskey blend made with corn grown in the same Kentucky countryside and the same limestone-filtered water that J.W. McCulloch used in his secret recipe, aged at least four years under the same warm Kentucky sun.

High West Tasting

High West Distillery was founded in 2006 by David Perkins and his wife, Jane. David, a former biochemist, was inspired to open his own distillery after seeing the parallels between the fermentation and distilling process and his own work in biochemistry during a trip to a whiskey distillery in Kentucky. In 2004, David and his family relocated to Park City, Utah to begin their new venture, where they began distilling in 2007. They chose Park City because of David’s love of the Old West and Utah’s little-known whiskey history. High West began with humble roots, opening a small, 250-gallon still and Saloon in an historic livery stable and garage. What was once a small operation in downtown Park City has grown to be an internationally-recognized, award winning brand.
